1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using Expetize ("Service", "we", "us", "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
By creating an account or using any part of the Service, you confirm you are at least 18 years of age and have the legal authority to enter into these Terms.
2. Description of Service
Expetize is a bulk email verification platform that helps businesses verify the validity of email addresses through:
- Syntax and format validation
- Domain and MX record checks
- SMTP handshake verification (no emails are sent or delivered)
- Spam trap and disposable email detection
- Web presence verification across public sources
Important: Expetize performs verification checks only. We do not send, deliver, or store the content of any emails on behalf of users.
3. Accounts & Registration
To use the Service you must create an account. You agree to:
- Provide accurate and complete registration information
- Keep your password secure and confidential
- Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account
- Be responsible for all activity that occurs under your account
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or engage in prohibited activities.
4. Credits & Billing
Credit System
The Service operates on a credit-based model. Each email verification consumes one credit. Credits are deducted only upon successful completion of a verification job.
Free Credits
New accounts receive free credits to trial the Service. Free credits are non-transferable and expire as indicated at the time of issue.
Paid Credits
Paid credits are non-refundable once consumed. Unused paid credits remain valid for the duration of your subscription or as specified in your plan.
Duplicates
Duplicate email addresses within a single job are automatically removed before processing. You are not charged for duplicates.
5. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use the Service to:
- Verify email lists for the purpose of sending spam or unsolicited messages
- Conduct phishing, fraud, or any illegal activity
- Violate the privacy rights of individuals
- Resell or redistribute verification results without permission
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or misuse our API or infrastructure
- Use the Service in violation of CAN-SPAM, GDPR, CASL, or any applicable laws
6. Data & Privacy
Your use of the Service is governed by our Privacy Policy, incorporated into these Terms by reference.
Email addresses you submit are processed solely for performing verification checks. We do not sell, share, or use your email lists for marketing purposes.
7. Accuracy Disclaimer
While we strive for high accuracy, email verification is inherently limited by factors outside our control, including catch-all domains, provider blocks, temporary outages, and inactive mailboxes.
Results marked "Valid" indicate the address passed our checks at the time of verification — this does not guarantee deliverability. We accept no liability for decisions made based on verification results.
8. Intellectual Property
The Service and all its original content and features are owned by Expetize and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You retain ownership of all email lists and data you upload.
9. Termination
We may terminate or suspend your account immediately, without prior notice, for conduct that violates these Terms or is harmful to other users, us, or third parties.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Expetize shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising out of your use of the Service.
Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim. The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind.
11. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify registered users of significant changes via email or a dashboard notice. Continued use after changes are posted constitutes acceptance.
12. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by applicable law. Any disputes shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation, and if unresolved, through binding arbitration.
